Seasonal Italian Cooking, Meant to Be Shared
Romolo Bar Romana takes its cue from the rhythm of an everyday Roman trattoria — small bites to begin, seasonal pasta at the center, and neapolitan pizzas designed to share. From burrata and oysters to rigatoni, carbonara, and filet, the menu balances comfort with detail while staying rooted in Italian tradition.

This was our first time dining at Romolo and it was a wonderful experience. We ordered the Rigatoni Lucanica pasta, Chopped Salad with chicken and the Heirloom Carpaccio. The pasta was some of the best pasta we’ve ever had. The combination of creamy sauce with Italian sausage and banana peppers was delicious. The ... interior of the restaurant was decorated with beautiful art you can buy. The aesthetic was both thoughtful and cozy. Great spot for a date night. We also ordered the spumoni ice cream ball for dessert, cannot recommend saving room for it enough. Read More
My fiancée and I had a really lovely Valentine’s dinner at Romolo. The interior was cozy, especially with the soft lighting and local art along the interior. It was lively for the holiday, but not cramped. We started with drinks and the Fritto Misto(not pictured) which was excellent. I had the Rigatoni Lucanica for ... my entree. The sauce and fennel sausage had a nice heat to them from the banana peppers. It was unique compared to most Italian pasta dishes. My fiancée had the Costolette D’Angnello, which was on a whole other level. The lamb was cooked perfectly at medium rare, very tender and not gamey in the least. The polenta and greens were savory, as well. They had a special dessert for the evening, Spumoni gelato covered in dark chocolate and pistachio crumbs. The appetizer and entree portions were generous, but we couldn’t say no to such a tempting dessert. The service was warm and attentive from all staff. We’d love to come back and try the pizza next time. Thank you for such a memorable evening! Read More
Wow. Best pasta I’ve had in years. Got the seafood fettuccini - so full of delicious shrimp, clams, crab. My celiac guest also had a gluten free pasta with no ill effects.
I love this place. There are plenty of Italian restaurant options, but this place is exceptional. The food is unique and while they have some heavier items, they include ingredients that balance and cut richness very well. Their Alfredo is amazing and delicate (and not drenched in white bechemel). The sausage burrata ... and also the brussel sprout appetizers are craveable. Desserts fab and not excessively sweet. Reservations easy, parking lot available. Big recommend. Read More
Went there for a work Christmas party, party of 14. The food was delicious, salad and pizza to start. Then chicken followed by a to die for pasta and thin sliced sirloin cook perfectly 👌 While I can not speak for the front of the house/bar, our banquet room server was quite slow and never smiled once. Nevertheless we ... enjoyed the vibe and the food, and would definitely recommend visiting! Read More
Really delicious. The menu is limited, which I think is a good idea as it allows the chef to add and remove items. The Suppli de Teli risotto balls are not your typical Arancini floating in tomato sauce. Your first bite is a mouthful of flavor with a slightly vinegary, black pepper, delicately cheesey and risotto ... flavor. Don't miss the cheese smear under the Suppli. It adds a light sweetness to the peppery bites. Truly an excellent appetizer. We also had the Polpette appetizer with a deep meaty flavor in the meatball and a delicious tomato ragu reminiscent of Sunday gravy in it's depth of flavor. They offer a meatball sandwich with these meatballs; we will be trying that! For our meals we had Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and the Cocoletta (veal chop). The Alfredo sauce is made in the Italian style. Rather than cream, it is made with cheese and pasta water. Really delicious. The pasta was perfectly al dente with a great chew and topped with black truffle 😘. The veal chop was cooked to your preference and huge! Mine was med rare and was seasoned perfectly. I never even looked for salt or pepper. Delicious! The baby potatoes were crispy and perfectly seasoned and the asparagus was baby finger sized and grilled well. We were too full for dessert. The wine offering is small, but well curated. We had no alcohol this time. Highly recommended! Read More
Fantastic steak the filet minion was better than any big name steak house with just the right amount of a glazed outer layer. I had the pizza that was real gourmet it was different than a others. This place has so many types of seating areas to choose from, that will make anyone happy.
Fabulous always! When ever my girlfriend comes to town, or we have a special event, this is our first choice. The rack of lamb is to die for, but it doesn't matter what you order, you will be sated.
This place does not disappoint. The owners and staff and chef were amazing. I rented part of the restaurant for a special family event. The food , the service and the local neighborhood charm were five star. C. J and everyone thank you for making my sons special day, amazing. I can’t wait for something to celebrate ... and do it all over again!!!! . Mary and Louis White Read More
